Our employees are our most valuable assets; their wellbeing and satisfaction is key to our business. ELS proactively supports the culture of inclusiveness and partnership and has established a diverse and representative workforce via Impact Sourcing, attracting individuals including those with disabilities, minority groups, and the long-term unemployed.

The art of realising employee potential is achieved by effective communication and support- we deliver this by understanding what motivates each individual and using that knowledge to deliver a tailored skills development programme that removes obstacles, while guiding them down a structured career progression path.

The following support initiatives helped us achieve an impressive 1% staff attrition in 2023:
Dedicated Wellbeing Support

  • ICAS dedicated employee wellbeing programme, designed to engage with each employee away from the usual targets and performance discussions, and understand how they are, where they feel they are with their career, and how ELS can support their general wellbeing and mental health.

Learner Management System

  • Delivering bespoke skills development modules and courses, empowering the employee’s career progression potential.

Flexible Work Arrangements

  • Flexibility in work schedules, including office-based, work from home, and hybrid models, designed to improve work-life balance and job satisfaction.

Employee Engagement

  • Weekly surveys and employee forums help us to better understand what we are doing right and where we can improve our employee environment.

Monthly attendance bonus

  • For every member who completes the month with 100% attendance is awarded a monetary bonus.

SLA adherence bonus

  • Awarded to agents who meet and exceed their internal monthly KPIs.

Fun Club

  • Every team can plan and agree a quarterly lunch or external activity, such as events, hiking, or otherwise, paid for by ELS, as part of our Fun Club initiative.

Chillout room

  • Dedicated chillout areas have been built for our employees to unwind and relax, featuring table football, comfy chillout areas, etc, allowing our people the opportunity to unwind.
